The essential oil also contains other terpenic and sesquiterpenic hydrocarbons as well as ketones such as carbone and cryptone among others in lower concentrations. Aesthetic properties: astringent, regenerating, anti-wrinkle, anti-ageing, tonic, rejuvenating. Therapeutic properties: carminative, healing, diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant and sedative.
