THE CREATION Created by Christine Nagel, perfumer for Hermès, Un Jardin à Cythère Eau de toilette is a surprising garden, neither green nor flowery, but… golden. The expression of an olfactory search through the Peloponnese that leads to Kythera, a protected Greek island that has inspired numerous artists. THE OLFACTORY NOTES The Eau de toilette Un Jardin à Cythère, a citrus and woody fragrance, combines the enveloping character of grasses with the strength of olive wood and the tenderness of fresh pistachio. THE OBJECT The bottle, designed by Fred Rawyler, is inspired by the lines of the headlights of cars of yesteryear. The glass comes alive with a gradient of bright yellows, in line with the sunny fragrance it contains. On the case, the artist Elias Kafouros sketches a colorful landscape of his native land: the golden grass, the green of the olive trees, the pink of fresh pistachios and, in the background, the blue of the sea. THE PARFUMS-GARDENS COLLECTION The Parfums-Jardins collection is the meeting point between the essence of a place, the perfumer's source of inspiration and the theme that the Maison Hermès chooses each year to illustrate its creation. An olfactory journey that invites you to enjoy each moment shared and to pursue the desire for freshness, to dream and to escape.
